BioGenesis 2012

7 July 2012

It was my most awaited part of the semester, the UP Mindanao BS Biology Acquaintance Party, also known as BioGenesis. Over the past years, the BSB seniors organizes the program to fun-filled activity.

This year, we made reservations at Villa Christina Orchid Gardens and Resort at Los Amigos, Tugbok District, Davao City. The overnight fee is at Php 250, however we were in a large group so they gave us a mark down. The place was huge, literally a farm with a pool. We get to have bed spaces inside the dorms, quite enough for all of us. The management also let us use the big function hall for our activities.

Candy was the party's theme and (almost) everybody tried to look their best to look like one. We started the party with a pre-program Philippine Games, which promoted camaraderie between intracourse batches.

The main program started with a catwalk by the freshmen so we, the upperclassmen, get to have a good look on their faces. It was proceeded by a truth or dare - funny personalized questions and dares with upperclassmen participation.

After a big dinner brought to us by our Juniors, we made preparations for the traditional amazing race. This year, we raised the bar of difficulty to see which is the most strategic group.

After the program, it was the soooo fun booze time! Everything was so smoky and blurry. Shots were damn flavorful and disgusting - eww.
I'm amazingly brave enough to get a picture with Nicolle.
